Red Cliffs Desert Reserve

Red Cliffs Desert Reserve was creates by the Washington County Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) with the goal of conserving the natural habitat of the desert tortoise and other endangered species of the red cliff areas of Southern Utah.

You can learn about the preserve at the visitor center at 10 North, 100 East in St. George, Utah.

The site has information about biking and horse back riding in the area. The video provides an intro to the reserve:
