Stolen Innocence
Elissa Wall is a willful girl who, at the ripe age of 14, decided that she didn't want to marry the man the prophet picked out for her.
With a willful desire to wait until her 16th birthday before marriage she confronted the prophet. This led to a series of events which led to the arrest of Warren Jeffs and a break up of the FLDS in Short Creek.
Published in 2008, the book Stolen Innocence (find at Amazon.com) recounts the story. The video below provides a long form interview on Mormon Stories. The first video talks about her childhood. The second about her forced marriage and the third about the drama with Warren Jeffs.
